Plain-sided and rounded like a vessel from ancient Rome, the Pompeii planter is cast limestone with an antique finish. At 27 inches across and 24 high, it holds a sizable olive, citrus or flowering shrub on a terrace, balcony or garden path.
Brush soil and leaves from the rim, then wipe the limestone with a soft, damp cloth. Ask for the drainage hole before it ships if the planter will stand uncovered in the rain.
