Hidden in the middle of the Chenon is an extra leaf. Slide the two ends apart along metal glide rails and the 63 in table opens to 78½ in, enough for 6-8 at dinner, then closes again for everyday meals. Fluted legs and a white paint wash keep the look light.
Dust the fluted legs with a soft, dry cloth and wipe the top with a damp one, drying it afterward. Placemats under hot pans help protect the white wash and veneer.
